Quality Assurance Jobs description
A quality assurance professional is responsible for the quality of products being manufactured by the organization. Typical duties of a quality assurance professional includes taking samples from the units; studying the samples for defects; keeping a close watch on the manufacturing process and looking out for improvements; preparing quality reports for various individuals, departments, or products; offering advice to personnel in the manufacturing team; analyzing and submitting quality reports to the engineering manager; comparing with past performance records and identifying trends; suggesting technological up-gradation with reference to quality issues; and promoting flaw-less manufacturing all over the organization. A quality assurance professional typically reports to the engineering manager.A quality assurance professional should have a bachelor of science degree in a relevant area. A certification in quality assurance in a related field is an advantage. Ability to motivate others and excellent analytical skills are key traits for a quality assurance position.
