Executive Jobs description
The various engineering executive positions in the engineering industry include senior director – manufacturing, chief technical officer, executive director - engineering, chief engineer, chief telecom officer, vice president – engineering, and president. An engineering executive position is responsible for providing technical and strategic leadership to the division/ organization; participating in resources allocation; long term strategic planning for the engineering division; supervising and motivating managers at both the middle level and operational level management; participating in strategic decision making; setting productivity and profitability milestones; and forecasting departmental growth.An engineering executive position requires a master\'s degree in an engineering discipline and approximately 10+ years of experience. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior experience of middle level management in an engineering company may be required. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead and motivate people are desirable for such positions.
