President Jobs description
A president in an engineering environment is the chief executive officer of the organization and is responsible for providing both strategic and technical leadership to the entire organization/ division. Typical duties of a president include providing strategic leadership to the division; allocating resources for the business unit; motivating and evaluating various directors in the organization; handling day-to-day problems; as part of the top management, initiating, promoting and successfully implementing change management; directing business unit managers; and getting best possible resources and finance for the organization. A president may report directly to the board of directors of the organization.A president has a bachelor\'s degree in an engineering discipline. 10+ years of progressively responsible experience is essential for such positions. Strong ability to motivate and lead people is an essential trait for this role. Related positions include managing director, executive director, executive president, or CEO.
