Graduate Engineering Jobs description
A graduate engineering job can be found with a manufacturing company, telecommunications company, oil/natural gas company, construction company, or engineering company. A graduate engineer may be responsible for ensuring that various machines in the plant work as desired; ensuring health and safety regulations are met; checking the manufactured products for defects; traveling to manufacturing units; coordinating with inventory, raw materials, marketing, and logistics departments; attending training sessions and meetings; and performing other tasks as assigned by the engineering manager. A graduate engineer typically reports to an engineering manager.A graduate engineering position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, construction science, architectural engineering, civil engineering, or in any other relevant field. Prior experience gained through a summer internship or project in an engineering company may be advantageous.
