is currently seeking an Application Developer
to provide development services and on-going maintenance for various business productivity and client-facing applications in a law firm located in Washington, DC
. The Application Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the custom .Net applications deployed by the firm in accordance with established procedures and standards. This Developer will also provide third-tier support and maintenance for applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent certification from an accredited technical training school or equivalent (4 years) experience in general development.
Experience with technologies including: ColdFusion, IIS, ASP, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Database Concepts (SQL Queries, ODBC) within a web context, and Graphic Design/Editing (Photoshop).
3-5 years of experience in developing and deploying applications using VB/C#, .Net, and Visual Studio 2008/2010.
Must have working knowledge of the iterative software development lifecycle, a peer review process, application documentation and version tracking.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
