CAD Engineer - (E3)','1900713','!*!As a CAD Engineer in a growing team, you will have the exciting opportunity to establish a state of the art CAD infrastructure. We are looking for a self-driven individual ready for the challenge of defining and developing a design CAD flow that cuts across disciplines from custom design to physical design.
 
Responsibilities


Define, establish and develop a CAD flow for a growing team

Set up CAD environment for EDA tools and revision control system for design database

Interact with EDA vendor to deploy new tools. Management and production release of tools and IP procured from both internal and external vendors

Organize and maintain project data and user work areas

Support both custom design and physical design flows day to day

Work with information systems team to deploy needed hardware

Establish and roll out best practices and policies for efficient CAD utilization','!*!Key Qualifications

BS/MS EE with 8 years relevant work experience
Experience with Cadence OA (6.x) Virtuoso design environment and setting-up and maintaining version-control system (e.g. Cliosoft,ICManage) is a must
Solid exposure to general revision control (GIT, perforce), license management (FlexLM) and parallel compute (LSF, SunGrid or NC) 
Experience with deploying new tools and software
Programming experience (Proficiency in TCL, Python, Perl scripting)

Shell and Makefile programming

Linux system administration / networking.

Good understanding of custom design flow including design entry, simulation, layout verification and parasitic extraction

Good understanding of physical design flow, including synthesis, place & route, and floor planning
 
Nice to have


Experience developing circuit simulation framework

Experience in developing physical design CAD flow based on reference methodology

Experience in physical verification and extraction

Proficiency in Skill and PCELL development and QA
