is looking for a Java Support Engineer
position to work independently and with teams. This is a 3 Months Contract to Hire
position and is based in Hopewell , NJ

Job Role
Managing the deployment of the Portfolio Plus application
Supporting the system as well as new development using Unix scripts or Java
Working with CTS and Architecture to develop/improve system design
Support end users of the platform
Interface with external technology teams such as CTS, and TI
Plan platform release and maintenance patching with Unix SA, DBA and Architecture teams.
Skills Required:
5 years of experience in Information Technology
3 years experience with implementing Linux based applications
3 years experience with Unix shell scripting , Java, C and/or .net
3 years experience working with Oracle, Sybase or MS SQL
Experience project managing the deployment of a large implementation
Experience troubleshooting complex vendor systems
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience in mainframe programming
Strong written and verbal communication skills
