POSITION PROFILE

Prepare Autodesk Inventor 3D models and approval drawings for customer approval.

Create accurate 3D models that can be used to generate CNC programs, custom buyouts and accurate BOM’s

Be able to work from architectural plans, sketches, prototypes and verbal instructions.

Create and maintain Autodesk Inventor libraries of new and existing product lines.

Be creative, detail oriented and mechanically inclined.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct support to sales and marketing with enthusiastic & timely response

Develop creative solutions that support Designer/Client identified requirements

Ensure solutions reflect the level of aesthetic sensibilities that are true to the Datesweiser brand and marketplace expectations

Co-ordinate with all internal departments to qualify proposed concepts/solutions for viability and budgetary restraints

Proficiency with AutoCad, Inventor, 3DS Max, Photoshop and typical office software.

Provide recommendations or alternate options, regarding design intent.

Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Experience with Autodesk Vault (multi-user file check in and out process) a plus.

Background in the woodworking industry preferred.

Required Experience

2-3 years Autodesk Inventor 3D experience working in a related industry.

Must be able to read and analyze architectural drawings.

Associates Degree Required
