We have an immediate opening for a Solutions Engineer to work at our global headquarters in Allentown, PA or remotely in the U.S. This technical position is responsible for the development of solutions that use modern application architecture and cloud services. You will report to a Team Lead in the IT Applications organization and will be involved in a variety of challenging IT projects.

What you’ll do:

Develop enterprise grade application solutions.

Determine technical requirements of projects to ensure that client specifications are met.

Collaborate with solution architects/technical leads to develop new and existing solutions targeting cloud, web and mobile platforms.

Work with the Infrastructure teams during implementation of solutions.

Participate in quality assurance aspects of projects.

Develop proof-of-concepts for projects, and when needed use advanced programming techniques for complex situations.

Learn, help design and implement cross business process solutions.

Facilitate the exchange of technical knowledge across the Global IT technical community.

Provide technical support for applications.

What we’re looking for:

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or in a related technical discipline (e.g., Engineering or Science).

7 years’ experience working with information technology.

5 years’ hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft technologies is required.

Knowledge of IT system development, IT infrastructure and business processes.

Knowledge of software development tools, technologies and methodologies.

Knowledge and experience in applying object-oriented design and implementation.

Familiarity with the agile methodologies & software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Good communication and teamwork skills are required, including the ability to work independently.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and competing demands.

Experience with front end web application technologies such as AngularJS or VueJS or React is required.

Experience developing web applications with SOA, RESTful APIs, and/or MVC architectures.

Experience with Microsoft’s .NET Framework and Visual Studio IDE, using C# as the development language.

Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript (Node.js) / Python).

Experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Experience in SQL or NoSQL database environments.

Experience with Azure DevOps ALM platform.

Experience with AWS Cloud technologies.

Experience with IaC and Terraform for cloud provisioning is a strong plus.

Experience with native & cross platform mobile development is a plus.

Experience with API Management platforms is a plus.
