Work you'll do

Our client's Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) program is seeking a M365 Engineer to support users working on M365 applications, leading, and assisting on M365 projects, as well as other core operational duties. The M365 Engineer is a thought leader in their expertise as well as a strong technical resource.

The candidate shall be customer/client focused and consultative in their approach with end users. The M365 Engineer is expected to be knowledgeable in multiple Microsoft technologies; specifically, within Microsoft 365, Azure, and Teams. This position will focus on supporting M365 applications, supporting users working with M365 Application, leading, and assisting on M365 projects, as well as other core duties. The M365 Engineer is a thought leader in their expertise as well as a strong technical resource.

Develop and maintain product roadmaps, customer plans, and strategic goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and better use M365 platform and services across the company and divisions.

Manage meeting, messaging settings, including policies and configurations.

Support end-users with answers to technical questions, describing best practices, and share that knowledge with end-users and team members.

Liaison with other 365 product owners, departments in IT, end users, management, and any other needed resource in developing and deploying telephony related solutions.

Work with customers to analyze project requests and align proposed solutions with the product roadmap, customer plans, and strategic goals.

Advise and co-lead M365 projects from start to finish, including proof of concepts, pilots, and initiatives and brief the status of those in a professional manner.

Understand and advise on any of the M365 products and services as needed.

Subject matter expert and working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite.

Deliver technical guidance based on Best Practices.

Communicate with end users across the entire business to effectively drive recommendations and priorities across organizational boundaries.

Strong written and oral communication skills coupled with a customer service focus.

Knowledge of M365 current and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree required

5 years of experience with the development, deployment and execution of Office 365 services and develop roadmaps and service strategies

Experience developing concise and accurate engineering documentation including design artifacts, knowledge guides, and standard operating procedures.
