As a BEOL Process Reliability Engineer working in the DDQA (Development and Design Quality Assurance) quality team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for characterizing and evaluating process reliability issues utilizing wafer-level reliability (WLR) techniques. You will use your understanding of failure mechanisms to model and correlate test structure data to product reliability. In this role, you will collaborate with Technology Development, to develop tests and monitors, for the assessment and mitigation of process reliability risks. You will provide WLR support to global manufacturing for process qualifications, excursions, and process improvements.
*Manage new Process Qualification, with primary focus on BEOL reliability *Develop Process Reliability Methodology for evaluating BEOL reliability i.e. EM, ISO-EM, SM. *Support Excursion Material Disposition *Provide Wafer Level Reliability Expertise and Consultation to global manufacturing
Masters Degree preferred or Bachelors with 3 year of experience in related field.
*Solid background in semiconductor processing, device physics, semiconductor reliability and BEOL characterization
*Solid knowledge of device structure and operation, typical product failure modes, and intrinsic reliability failure mechanisms
*Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
*Ability to work with people from diverse technical backgrounds and be a team player
*Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office, Python scripting, and statistical analysis software (JMP).
*Familiarity with test and measurement equipment, such as Formfactor 1164 and Quali'Tau MIRA systems are a plus.
