Job Description

CACI is looking for a Command and Control (C2) Administrator to support the Air Force’s Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System

Long-Term Modification & Sustainment Program in support of global air operations. Position will be located in the Hampton, VA area.

  This position requires technical engineering experience, with a demonstrated understanding and application of systems engineering and configuration management principals and process, mission planning, and scheduling. The candidate will have experience in systems engineering and sustainment of existing baseline.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Integrate, upgrade, and manage C2 systems supporting AOC Plans and Ops cell tasks, including but not limited to planning, ATO production, Situational Awareness, weather, and Time Sensitive Targeting.

Administer associated servers and clients in a dynamic integration and test lab environment.

The candidate will also work problem identification and root cause analysis, including problem report management and resolution tracking.

Research system changes and develop integration strategies.

Maintain a collaborative working relationship with C2 mission application providers, industry SMEs, and functional area representatives.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Current DoD Secret security clearance 

Current IAT Level 2 Certification (Sec or higher)

Demonstrated ability to quickly come up to speed on technical and management efforts currently underway

Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience

Ability to work on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements

Ability to produce detailed technical documentation

Demonstrated ability to administer Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows 2012R2, and/or newer Windows Operating Systems

Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.  Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of manufacturing and military sites or facilities where necessary.

Required Education – B.S. in Computer or Systems Engineering related field and 6 years of experience, or 14 years of equivalent military and/or civilian experience in lieu of degree

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Familiarity with DISA STIG compliance

Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a multi-disciplinary project/team, independently and collaboratively, with strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of AOC, its mission and the systems within its current 10.1 baseline

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and complete tasks while managing a variety of assignments

Knowledge of systems engineering roles and functions, including requirements management, functional analysis, configuration management processes and procedures

Experience with Linux and/or Solaris Operating Systems

Understand the USMTF message format and interfaces

Experience with scripting, such as PowerShell and VB Script

Experience with HBSS (McAfee ePO)

Experience with VMWare and CITRIX Tools

Experience with C2 Systems, such as TBMCS, MAAP-TK, PTT, JADOCS, and GCCS-J
