ENSCO AEG is recruiting Mid-Level Engineer/Analysts in Mission Engineering supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Research and Engineering Branch (OUSD/R&E). Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the government space? We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Engineer/Analyst in Mission Engineering with Experience developing system solutions to complex and challenging DoD problems. The Mid-Level Engineer/Analyst will support the implementation and promulgating Mission Engineering (ME) processes and methodology in the DoD ecosystems. The Mid-level Mission Engineer/Analyst will support/coordinate the deliberate planning, analyzing, organizing, and integrating of current and emerging operational and system capabilities to achieve desired warfighting mission effects. The Mid-level Mission Engineer/Analyst will focus not only on building things right but on building the right things. The Mid-level Mission Engineer/Analyst will use mission‐focused threat‐informed analyses to evaluate capability solutions, advise on development of requirements, and inform technology investment decisions aligned with the National Defense Strategy Modernization areas and in support of the Joint Staff. This position is located in the Washington D.C./Virginia area.  Bachelor’s degree in EngineeringTen (10) or more years within the specified technical disciplineExcellent communication skills both verbally and in writingAbility to develop papers, reports, and briefings targeted to senior decision makersExperience to include supporting policy and process engineering activitiesBe experience in one or more of the following Modeling & Simulation tools: Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling software (AFSIM), Systems Tool Kit (STK), Command Professional Edition (Command PE / CPE) and the USAF Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM).Well versed in DOD Instruction 5000.88, \Engineering of Defense Systems.\Experience planning and executing complex mission and systems analysis efforts. Experience conducting systems engineering tasks including Technology Analysis and Assessment, Studies, System Definition, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture development and architecture products, and Logistics support of Department of Defense (DoD) systems. Expert in assessing threat kill chains operations and identifying exploitable vulnerabilities, analyzing mission threads and blue force system kill chains to identify capability gaps and solutions, developing system models, constructing and executing simulation and analysis plans, conducting trade studies and sensitivity analysis, interpreting and synthesizing results and translating them into concise and comprehensive artifacts for documenting and communicating to multiple audiences.Must be in compliance of working at a Government Facility, all Contractor personnel must adhere to Government guidance found at https://www.whs.mil/COVID-19/ .Be able to travel around the National Capital Region (NCR) to include travel to and from the Pentagon and other Government facilities within the Washington DC area.
