Profile

Role Summary:As a Cyber Crisis Management Readiness and Response Lead, you will combine your leadership and cyber security expertise to help GE protect its global brand, products, customers, and business partners. In this role, you will be a critical member of the GE Cyber Crisis Management Team responsible for executing cyber incident resonse exercises with top leadership and developing effective response processes for real-word cyber incidents impacting GE.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide crisis management support during cyber related incidents to include acting as incident commander during high pressure cyber security incidents

Function as a key member of the Crisis Management Team coordinating and facilitating crisis management and incident response during significant cyber events

Spearhead development of cyber crisis management playbooks, run books and plans to ensure effective response during a significant event.

Contribute to the development and execution of crisis management exercises to include full simulations and table tops across GE businesses to drive continuous improvement and education

Develop and maintain key infrastructure to include Cyber Crisis Management Plan and Cyber Business Continuity Plan.

Establish and maintain strong relationships across all GE businesses and key stakeholders

Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit analysis and program updates as required

Understand and adhere to the regulatory and compliance requirements that impact either current business operations or potential client engagements

Partner with stakeholders and executive leaders to enhance and deliver effective and efficient services to protect the global brand

Provide input to GE security solutions to ensure teams are delivering on business outcomes in a secure manner

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a STEM related field

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience

Minimum of 4 years of Crisis Management, Emergency Management, or Incident Command experience

Desired Characteristics:

Previous experience in crisis management and incident response in a global company

Experience with Cyber Incident response and/or product security teams

Experience developing, managing and executing project plans

Influencing and negotiation skills

Excellent communication and presentations skills

Experience leading and managing in a highly matrixed environment

Experience leading and influencing global cross-functional teams/projects

Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint

Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve

Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways

Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible, and able to work under pressure and in fast paced team environment

Strong problem solving, prioritization, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization

Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels

Cyber/Security related professional certification
