Description

The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer Supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer implements the organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer will work with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions.

Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements.

Begins to influence department's strategy.

Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Required Qualifications

5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Experience with implementing, managing and supporting Kubernetes infrastructure and container workloads

Experience working in public cloud solutions like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Experience working in a large, enterprise environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience in designing/implementing a Multi-Cloud Management & Control solution for Kubernetes

Experience working with VMware Tanzu products

Certifications in working with Azure, AWS or GCP public cloud solutions

Experience working with release pipelines

Experience working in an Agile operating model

Additional Information

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while on-site at work.
