FORGE Interface Engineer

Profile

ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space System Command’s Remote Sensing (RS) Program through the RS Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) contract.  This position, located in El Segundo, CA, will support a diverse set of strategic and tactical Remote Sensing systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.  Duties include:Providing systems engineering support to develop and maintain the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Mission Data Processing Application Framework technical requirements baseline, including system specifications and interface requirementsEnsuring FORGE interfaces are traceable to system requirements, architecture, and designAssessing and tracking interface accuracy, completeness, and testabilitySupporting the Govt in identification and management of risks, issues, and interdependencies, Developing action plans for resolution and assisting the Government in executing selected solutionBS in a Math, Science or Engineering fieldExperience with MBSE5 years of applicable experience to include:Systems engineering (e.g. requirements management, risk management, integration, etc)Technical baseline management or system integrationStrong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Experience working with military or DoD civilians ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENMS in a science or engineering fieldINCOSE certification (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)Experience with a space system’s ground segmentExperience working with Space Systems CommandExperience working with mission data processing systemsExperience with software-centric system design, development, and implementation#LI-AH1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advanced technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.ENSCO operates in the aerospace, avionics, national security, rail, and cyber sectors.
