Utilizing original R\u0026D strategies and processes has fully equipped us with the capability to provide unparalleled service systems that have been utilized on a global scale.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003ePosition Summary:\u003cbr/\u003eThe successful candidate will join TEL Technology Center, America, LLC where he/she will investigate, using analytical plasma and surface diagnostic equipment, plasma-surface interactions for advanced etching processes.\u003cbr/\u003eThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated plasma process R\u0026D engineer to join a high caliber research team in the world leading semiconductor equipment manufacturing company.\u003cbr/\u003eResponsibilities:\u003cbr/\u003e• Early recognition of industry trends, identification of key plasma processing targets for future technological nodes and developing/managing complex interdisciplinary projects. \u003cbr/\u003e• Internal and external collaboration with different groups and departments to identify potential issues and subsequent solutions for advanced semiconductor processing.\u003cbr/\u003e• Development of new processes and interpretation of plasma-chemicals mechanisms and reactions.\u003cbr/\u003e• Development of new data collection methods and analytical equipment.\u003cbr/\u003e• Operation of TEL plasma processing equipment including various etch and deposition process tools.\u003cbr/\u003e• Occasional domestic and international travel is required.\u003cbr/\u003eQualifications:\u003cbr/\u003e• MS or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or Chemistry.\u003cbr/\u003e• 3 years of experience in the field of Plasma Physics and Material Processing.\u003cbr/\u003e• Practical experience in design and operation of high vacuum equipment and pulse/RF power circuits.\u003cbr/\u003e• Knowledge and practical experience of plasma mass-spectrometer and XPS would be a great advantage.\u003cbr/\u003e• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\u003cbr/\u003e• Must be fluent in English.\u003cbr/\u003e• Must be able to work on a team as well as individually.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eCandidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment.
