Bruker Daltonics has an immediate opportunity for an In-House Service Engineer based in our Billerica, MA headquarters. The appropriate candidate for this position will perform repairs to Bruker instruments including Mass Spectrometry, Liquid Chromatography, and SPR.
Responsibilities
Repair customer instruments (MS, LC, SPR)
Test and validation of returned/refurbished spare parts
Installation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Repair of demo lab instrumentation
Maintain quality records and service documentation for all work performed
Provide remote support for field engineers
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Biotech, Biology or Chemistry, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience diagnosing and repairing mass spectrometers.
Experience troubleshooting HPLC and nanoLC
Proven knowledge of analog electronics, high voltage circuitry/circuits, laser technology.
Experience with GLP and working in a regulated environment.
Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines within a customer-focused work environment.
May require lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and squatting and working in laboratory environments.
Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
