Summary: The Systems Engineer will be a talented team member of the Unix Team that is responsible for our enterprise Linux and AIX servers operating on both physical and virtual infrastructure. The engineer will participate in server provisioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and supporting end users service requests.  Driving automation through collaborations with other infrastructure teams.  Will work closely with other internal teams to ensure both existing and new processes, procedures and operational practices meet or exceed the reliability, stability and time-to-delivery needs of the company.   What Your Day Will Look Like: Participate in any and potentially all roles of the systems development life cycle. Roles may vary by project and assignment. This may include, but not limited to:   Build and implement Linux systems per enterprise standards with continuous enhancement per best practices, standard procedures, and automation Provide support and maintain system health for servers operating in RHEL, Solaris, and AIX Resolve challenging incidents/problems and complete root cause analysis to pursue permanent solutions for reoccurring issues Develop standard operating procedures for installing and configuring middleware applications Create and modify scripts and/or Ansible playbook for automation Test, validate, and improve disaster recovery procedures for Unix/Linux systems Participate in vulnerability management with tools like Foreman/Katello Create formal documentation on configuration standards, processes, and troubleshooting steps Technical services; software, hardware and network architecture design and maintenance; security operations Accurate work planning and execution; accurate project and time tracking   Skills and Experience We Want to See: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields Requires four to six years of experience based on consistently demonstrated capabilities Red Hat Certification is preferred Extensive knowledge with enterprise server operating systems such as RHEL 6/7/8 Strong knowledge with Solaris and AIX systems Extensive experience with operational support and problem resolution for Unix/Linux based systems Advanced proficiency with the AutoZone software, architecture and methodology Technical skills may include experience with one or more of: UNIX, Linux, Java, Hadoop, Oracle, TCP/IP, http, openssl, sendmail, NFS, iSCSI, DNS, SSH, LDAP, python, bash scripting, Ansible, VMware Continuous deployment/delivery practices Container technologies like docker, Kubernetes, etc. Strong problem solving, domain technical and analytical skills Advanced task estimation and planning skills ,qualifications:UNAVAILABLE,responsibilities:UNAVAILABLE
