Job Description:
Candidate must be hands-on and should have a clear understanding of high-level business requirements and product tech specifications, designs & architectures; building high quality products/modules according to agreed schedules & priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Design & enhance the functionality for existing apps and refactor existing code-base.
- Estimate software development tasks to w/in predictable variances per specified functional & business requirements.
- Accountable for the quality, performance & adherence to specification of assigned development duties.
- Perform code review sessions and suggest improvements and/or alternate strategies as needed.
- Hands-on coding in C#, C or Borland C Builder on Windows.
- Develop installations for products using InstallShield. Both install script and Basic MSI.
- Work effectively & independently w/ minimal supervision, as well as w/ team members.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 1 years hands-on experience in Software Engineering related to software design & development, database design & development, and system integration.
- 1 years hands-on experience with MS technologies: Windows API, COM/DCOM & ADO.
- 1 years of C , C# programming experience on Windows using Visual Studio.
- Experience with .Net development, C#, WPF, XML, and SQL, Object Oriented Programming / Object Oriented Design (OOP/OOD), full-life cycle development, and InstallShield.
- Must be up to date on leading edge & evolving industry software technologies.
- Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
Education:
- BS in computer science or computer information technology
- Certifications in MS technologies a plus
