Global Conductor is attempting to identify a Systems Administrator
for a 5 month project with our Client in Orange County,CA. This consultant will assist with the configuration, implementation and maintenance of various technologies supporting Client’s Internet infrastructure.
Local candidates ONLY please. No provisions for travel or telecommute options.
Responsibilities Include:
- Design, setup, test, monitor cloud infrastructure.
- Evaluate, test, and deploy all software upgrades to server infrastructure.
- Monitor all servers, applications and services to ensure high availability.
- Research, evaluate and recommend technologies to support business requirements.
In order to qualify for this position:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as System Administration.
- Experience with Linux and Web Server administration.
- Experience with Java Application Server administration and Java development and developing scripts required.
- Experience with Weblogic 11g/Tomcat a plus.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services EC2 a plus.
- Working knowledge Web application architecture.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
