Objective of this Mission Development leadership role is to leverage synergies within Special Programs Line of Business, Lockheed Martin subsidiaries (Zeta Associates) and across other LM Business Areas to establish growth opportunities for Advanced Programs Intelligence Systems Organization, specifically Mission Processing. Emphasis in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is highly desired. Leadership role involves critical support to other Space LOBs (Mission Solutions) and Business Areas (RMS, Aero), and requires full spectrum leadership approaches to enterprise collaboration. Individual will manage the execution and grow a multi-disciplined product area engaged in applied research and development (R&D), and transition new mission capabilities to operations while building a core technical team to address large competitive procurements. Responsibilities include managing multiple programs to include planning, scheduling, budgeting, and financial management; planning and coordinating software development activities; establishing and maintaining effective customer relations; acquiring and managing LM Space and Corporate Research and Development initiatives; proven experience leading proposal development, developing and executing growth strategies, and new business acquisition; proven experience working across LM lines of business; public speaking to large and/or high-level audiences; and recruitment of top technical talent.

Minimum BS degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
Strong technical background with a minimum of 10 years experience with overseeing technical efforts associated with Software Development Programs related to intelligence or national security applications,
Experience deploying and maintaining software systems
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective customer relations
Strong communication skills with experience interfacing with high-level government/military officials
Proven ability to recruit and develop top technical talent
Basis of Estimate and proposal technical writing experience
Minimum of 8 years legacy system domain experience
Minimum of 2 years CAM experience.
Experience in developing large-scale mission management and processing systems with Digital Signal Processing capabilities.
Working knowledge of Special Programs customer site operations
Formal program management training (e.g. PMDP graduate or PMP certified)
Direct experience developing and executing growth strategies
Proven track record of overseeing diverse software organization with a focus on metrics and program execution
Experience with both IC and DoD communities.
