A leading technology company has hired us to identify an Entry Level Software Engineer for their product development team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn Java development best practices from Senior Software Engineers and Architects at a cutting edge technology company that is experiencing explosive growth.In order to qualify for this role, you must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from an accredited university to qualify for this position.
Starting Salary is $50,000 to $60,000 stock options and incredible benefits.
This role is ideal for someone that is trying to find a stable position in a cutting edge company. This company has a track record of mentoring and training talented people that have a few years of software engineering experience or have recently graduated college.
Individuals who have developed Java applications as an intern or in college courses qualify for this role. We also have a position available for individuals who have a few years of professional software engineering experience that offers a higher salary.
Responsibilities
Design and develop Java based applications.
Determine new solutions for a growing software product line.
Work closely with the testing team to insure the integrity of the applications.
Perform software builds and releases.
Verify source code control of releases.
Develop feature areas in collaboration with software engineers.
Contribute to feature planning and development.
Qualifications
Experience in Java software development via internships and coursework.
Coursework in Object Oriented design and development.
Very detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of software development, testing, and release processes.
