Humana is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Retail Operations team in Louisville, KY or working remote anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for the CMS Processing Unit (CPU) and works closely to identify data solutions to solve complex business problems and issues to provide insight to decision-makers. This Engineer describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Additionally, the Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will create and maintain routine reports as well as Adhoc reports on demand.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and equivalent related work experience

2 years of technical experience in data analysis

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Access

Experience with SSIS and Power BI

Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations

Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction

Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings

Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced in SQL, SAS and other data systems

Experience with tools such as Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations

Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling

Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors

Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data

Additional Information

Anyone located in or within 50 miles of Louisville, KY: This position will start as remote/work at home due to current COVID restrictions, but will resume as an agile based position working both in-office and at home, once it is determined safe to return to the office.
