This is a challenging role that is critical to the success of the Fowlerville, MI site and the continued strategic development plan of the Americas lubes business. This role will be tasked with supervising all maintenance work at the facility as well as leading the execution of Capital and OpEx projects. The role will be reporting to the Plant Manager and will supervise the maintenance team.

What’s the role?

The Maintenance Supervisor will execute engineering and maintenance activities in the Plant as determined by the maintenance schedule and in accordance with agreed cost targets and HSSE targets. The role will deliver capital projects and support capital expenditure. He/she is expected to lead the LGAME processes to ensure MSA adherence and value delivery in all maintenance and project activities.

Additional Accountabilities:


Ensure Maintenance is carried out in accordance with roles described in GSAP/Streamline. (LGAME)
Ensure Maintenance activities are carried out including the keeping of records, monitoring of maintenance costs, and production performance, and are performed in accordance with the agreed schedules and consistent with HSSE rules and regulations including the Permit to Work (PTW) system and Management of Change (MOC)
Work with Operations to ensure asset availability is maximized and troubleshoot operational technical problems.
Working closely with Plant and Regional engineering support as well as the plant operating team, ensure that projects are fully vetted through the MOC process and executed in a Safe and Cost-effective manner.
Coach, train and lead maintenance operators in performance of their duties.
Backfill other supervisors as necessary to support site during vacations or other absences.

Requirements:

What we need from you -


Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in a lubricants plant or manufacturing facility
Previous experience with project execution is desirable.
Strong emphasis on interpersonal, oral and written communication, PC skills, MS Office
Strong Coaching and Mentoring skills
A motivated individual with a “can-do” attitude is a must
Team Player
Multi-Tasking Abilities
Time Management Skills
Ability to be a member of the facility emergency response team.
