Technical Engineer Jobs
A technical engineer is responsible for providing technical or engineering support to a division or firm. Typical duties of a technical engineer include ensuring that all technical equipments are working as desired; troubleshooting when there is a problem with the equipments; training users or customers on the use of a firm's equipments; publishing and/or formulating guidelines and policies in the usage of technology; providing training to new technical engineers; educating internal and external customers on the use of and safety issues concerning the equipments. A technical engineer typically reports to a technical manager or technical director. A technical engineer may also be referred to as a technical professional, engineer, or technical executive.
A technical engineer should have a bachelor's degree in a technical field. Prior experience working in a similar setting may be advantageous. Strong technical knowledge is required.
