Mine Jobs
A professional in the field of mining is responsible for one or more of the following responsibilities: performing manual work in mines like operating heavy equipments, digging, planting explosives, carrying out or supervising bomb explosions for extraction work, crushing rocks or coal into small pieces with the help of mechanical instruments or tools, performing maintenance work in various areas, driving truck or raw materials carriers, communicating with vendors, and handling outbound logistics for mines. Most known positions in this area include, mine safety and health inspector, mine safety and health administrator, coal mine inspector, mine safety and health assistant, mine electrician, mine maintenance superintendent, mine engineer, mine heavy equipment operator, coal mine worker, mine production foreman, underground mine surveyor, and mine production manager.
Most mining positions require applicants to do physical work, lifting heavy articles, attending maintenance work and doing other strenuous work. A technical position may require a relevant certification, diploma, or degree.
