Control System Jobs
Control system engineers research, design, develop, and manage the equipment used to monitor and control a wide range of systems and machinery. They work on systems where precision is vital, for example, in health care and chemical processing plants. The Control system engineers take the various components of the project and make them actually work. A control system engineer may set up a complete system within a production facility from reading the blueprints through to actually starting up the system, testing, making corrections, and troubleshooting issues. Control system engineers must be able to work with a variety of different systems as well as have good mechanical and electrical abilities. A natural ability to understand how things work and how to fix things that don't is a great asset.
A BS in Computer Science or Information Technology is essential for the post. The job candidate needs to have technical ability and an interest in mathematics, science, and technology.
