Test Engineer

Job Summary:
Identify problems and recommend solutions with little or no supervision and able to devise innovative approaches to solve problems. Integrate the participation of various elements and attendant responses from other agencies, such as other program offices, directorates and matrix organizations, DoD test agencies and major air commands. Review test progress to assess problems and workloads and adjust priorities and tasking, as necessary, to meet program office requirements and objectives.

Must be capable of the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to meet program office requirements and objectives in a fluid test environment.Must have a minimum of 15 years experience in DoD systems acquisition including eightyears program office experience (Government or industry). Eight years of defense acquisition test management experience is required and may beconcurrent with the program office experience with at least six months of this experienceattained within the last five years. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A Mechanical/Aero-Mechanical Engineering degree is required. Must be proficient in the most current version of the Microsoft Office Suite of software products, including but not limited to, Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, & Microsoft Access. Must have a minimum of six years experience in DoD systems acquisition includingthree years program office experience (Government or industry). Three years defense acquisition test management experience is required and may beconcurrent with the program office experience with at least six months of this experienceattained within the last five years.
MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technicaldiscipline required. SECURITY CLEARANCE required.
