Job Responsibilities:
Hyundai Information Service North America LLC seeks System Development Engineer (MES Engineer). 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (M-F 40hrs) at $67,789/year in West Point, GA. Duites:Develop/implement/maintain IT systems, subsystems, intermediate or middleware systems for support of manufacturing, quality functions and system integration
coordinate ERP system and operation control equipment to manage production scheduling and sequencing, and create audit trail for track/trace
Determine technical solutions via clear comparison table reports for approval based on the development quality, cost and delivery
Maintain integrity of vehicle tracking data, and operate MES (Manufacturing Execution System); monitor information concerning production status, manufacturing equipment fault and quality issue
Operate MES and report related performance index to user
Verify/maintain integrity of information generated by MES hardware and software
Monitor operating status of MES hard & software before, during and after shift changes
perform periodic preventive maintenance such as log file content check and routine database backup
Analyze/repair MES hardware and software problem, and determine/remove root causes
Create training plan for technical support team members and instruct how to operate MES hard & software
Analyze MES issues requested and provide resolutions

Required Skills, Attributes & Education :
B.S. in Engineering plus 5 yrs experience required
