Sr. Citrix Engineer

Profile

The candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Know about system problems before the customer via proactively monitoring and responding to system performance issues.

* Ensure service level targets are met for our customers.

* Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to the support desk or other team members.

* Plan, implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions for Citrix Shared Infrastructure and assist in providing disaster recovery solutions for all businesses that utilize Citrix technology.

* Assist in making recommendations to the project teams for the appropriate sizing and scalability of server hardware applications.

* Manage, plan and Implement Business Application in the Citrix and/or Terminal Services Infrastructure.

Work Experience/Skills REQUIRED:
* 5 years MS Windows 2003/2008 system administration.

* 4 years experience with server virtualization.

* 6 years Citrix XenApp experience.

* 2 years application virtualization.

* Scripting experience in Perl, Windows scripting host or VB scripting. Experience in administrating Windows domain structures and active directory.

* Experience in TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP management.

* Experience in llS & web server management for internal and external servers and sites.

Helpful Skills:
* Scripting Experience (Perl, VB, Windows)

* Server Virtualization (VMware)

* DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP

* IIS Web Server Management

* Familiarity w/Microsoft Operations Manager SCOM

* Experience with Active Directory as it relates to Citrix
