As a Software Engineering Intern with Mitchell, you will gain hands-on industry skills, technical abilities, knowledge and experience in a variety of topics.
Our Software Engineering intern will handle multiple projects and assignments for the AskMitch scrum team. Join this flexible, collaborative, and courageously innovative team
comprised of product managers, program managers, developers, and programmers alike. As an intern, you will get to experience the fast paced agile environment well known to Mitchell employees and our scrum teams. You will work
directly with the team to
create search engines and file systems crawlers, while
analyzing, improving, developing and implementing solutions for other key departmental projects.
Skill:
Our interns are
quick learners, who are able to adapt to new environments easily, and analyze in depth information to identify solutions. They are innovative, and passionate about technology and improvement.
Job Complexity:
Will work
on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Supervision:
Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
Experience:
Pursuing an undergraduate education in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience creating search engines and file systems crawlers is desirable.
A background and understanding of Machine Learning is highly desirable, but not required.
Must be familiar with coding in a .NET environment, C#.
Candidate must be able to start work in April,
part time (20 hours per week)
, and through the summer. Candidate must be able to commute to and from Irvine, CA
