Our client located in Nassau County that specializes in Retail Marketplace, is seeking to add to their growing staff a Retail Systems Assistant Project Manager. Position is located in Nassau County. The Retail System Assistant Project Manager (should have 3-5 yrs experience in IT Project Management) will be communicating with external clients and internally with various departments' personnel and manage the fulfillment of client implementation systems requests for all existing and new clients. Will be responsible for developing, managing, implementing, and monitoring their service process for the clients, act as a liaison between client and various departments' personnel.
Assist project teams and assist in managing activities associated with projects that are typically cross-department or organizational entity-wide in scope. Projects range from simple to technical in nature and may last any where from a week to six months. Must be metrics driven and have experience tracking metrics and deliverables. Must have experience with resource management tool and build all resource needs within master project outline. Must have strong understanding of the Full SDLC and experience with formal SDLC methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Retail Experience Preferred
Experience performing risk and issue management including strategies related to identifying risks, tracking and mitigating risks
