Engineering Data Analyst

Profile

Requires experience in the perpetration of all types of engineering drawings. Individual must be able to portray engineering ideas and informationthrough drawings. Must be able to comprehend detailed characteristics of item being designed and associate with Air Force design practices. Must have sufficient experience in engineering drafting to prepare complete sets of drawings, to include accurate representation of dimensions, tolerances, fits, and fabricationtechniques. Must also be able to interpret sketches; standard parts identification; and information from the design originator, technical handbooks, manuals, andmanufacturers’ publications. Individual must be familiar with engineering design/management software
Job Requirements :
Minimum 3 years experience in document-based XML content management and Java development.
Java-certification preferred.
Bachelor degree in a computer-related field preferred; but not required with adequate job related experience and past performance.
Good working knowledge of current hardware, transformation development tools, parsers, XML tools, processes and products.
Competent with Arbortext Epic editor, XML transformation tools, Java development environment.
Working knowledge of Windows NT, XP, XML, HTML, and other software and programming standards for online delivery.
Position also requires familiarity with electronic publishing areas including editorial operations, software and courseware development and multimedia.
Knowledge of electronic publishing trends and technological advances is essential.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management and presentation skills.
Experience in educational technology applications (e.g., WebCT Campus Edition and WebCT Vista, Blackboard) and web-based applications strongly preferred.
Able to relate to non-technical people and help TDSS C-5 IETM Task co-workers, TDSS C-5 Editorial Task, and other internal and external customers understand implications of technology product development.
Understanding of how product and hosting systems interrelate with one another.
A fast-learner able to grasp and communicate changes in technology throughout the organization.
Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently; strong prioritization skills and able to handle managing multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.
