HyperCrash/CATIA's first effective crash workbench
Altair Engineering, Inc. has launched HyperCrash/CATIA, a crash environment integrated into CATIA V5. The new technology has been designed to ''enable modeling of crash data and the capability to include nonlinear material properties in a dynamic database.'' Altair Engineering, Inc. is a leader among global providers of technology and services that support client innovation and decision-making. Prior to HyperCrash/CATIA, automotive crash engineers had to leave CATIA to perform time-bound critical crash analysis. Now, with HyperCrash/CATIA, the first effective crash workbench, engineers can do everything inside the CATIA environment and move directly into the RADIOSS solver, a part of the Altair(R) HyperWorks(R) CAE technology suite.
